SLAA in the U.K.

Send to friendPrinter-friendly version
SLAA began in the UK around 1985 when a group of individuals started meeting at eachother's houses.

In 2000, established members of our fellowship convened at the Duncan Terrace meeting room in Islington, London to set down a series of by-laws for the UK intergroup's future business meetings. A comprehensive history of SLAA n the UK with personal recollections from fellowship 'old timers' is currently being compiled. (2008)

We rely solely on CONTRIBUTIONS to sustain our fellowship.
Our 7th Tradition states that we must be fully self-supporting. Usually donations from groups are made quarterly at the time of the Intergroup business sessions. However, individual donations may be accepted at any time. Please contact our Treasurer at treasurer@slaauk.org for further details.
